            The Strata Center is located in Central Park near the Senior Center.
The Center offers basketball, volleyball, pool tables, table games,
board games and other sports equipment.

Youth Drop – In Gym ( 15 & under) Gym Hours of Operation:
Wednesday & Friday 3:00-7:00 PM
Tuesday, Thursday 3:00-4:00 PM
Saturday 1:00-4:00 PM

Adult Drop-In (16 yrs & up) Gym Hours of Operation:
Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday 4:00-7:00 PM

CENTRAL PARK

10460 Heather Ave.

Central Park is an 80 acre recreation complex bordered by
Randsburg-Mojave Road, Conklin Boulevard. California City
Boulevard and Heather Drive. Facilities located within the park
are a multi-purpose sports center, senior center, playground,
swimming pool, tennis courts, handball court and many picnic
sites complete with shade, tables and barbecues.  Horseshoes,
basketball and volleyball may also be enjoyed in the park. There are
also two tennis courts in Central Park for the public's enjoyment.

 

ORION'S DOG PARK

Located adjacent to the Little League Field, open during Park hours from 6:00am to 10pm Everyday. Orion's Dog Park is a great place for you and your dog to run around play fetch. There are water facilities and waste bags to clean up after your dogs. Come on by and check it out!

 Scout Island

Group Camping Facilities for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and other Youth Groups located on Scout Island Drive in the park. For group rental information please contact parks and rec at (760) 373 -3530.

BALSITIS PARK

 Located at the corner of Landis and Shortway Streets. A neighborhood park facility with covered picnic areas, tables, barbecues, grass, trees and play apparatus, basketball, volleyball courts, snack-bar and restrooms. 3 lighted softball/soccer fields are also located here.

 

COMMUNITY CENTER


10400 Heather Avenue (760) 373-3530. The Community Arts Center is located on Cal City Central Park Lake between the swimming pool and the Tennis Courts. It is an ideal place for art shows, art classes, weddings, meetings or social gatherings. The building is under renovation at this time. California City Arts Commission meets the second Wednesday of each monthe at the Mable Davis Senior Center at 5:30PM. MABLE DAVIS SENIOR CENTER

        The Senior Center is located in Central Park near the tennis courts.  A large meeting room, lounge, and pool room are available for our senior population. Also available are horseshoe and shuffle board courts, bingo and card games Noon lunches are served Monday thru Friday.
Please call at least one day ahead for reservations. Bingo is played on Fridays at 1:00 pm. All adults are welcome.

Hours: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Monday thru Friday

 

Cal City Golf Course (Par 3)

Tierra Del Sol

This beautiful 18 hole golf course is a challenge to anyone who enjoys the game of golf. The course, which will play
6,800 plus yards from the championship tees, has 140 beautifully sculptured finger bunkers, five large lakes
which affect eight holes and many elevated tees and greens. A driving range is located next to the course.
The clubhouse features a pro-shop with golf equipment and clothing, snack bar, lockers and club storage.
Hours: Winter 7AM-Dark Summer 6:30AM-Dark Every day.

FACILITY RENTALS
 Large picnic areas that includes tables, benches, barbecues and serving shelter are
    available for group picnics on a rental basis in Central Park. The Community Center and
    swimming pool are also available on a rental basis.
